Alumni association officers art Harold Webb of Decatur, president Dr. P am Kirk of Louisville, vice presi dent; and Mrs. Lois Cooper o L)ec:atur, secretary-treasurer. Alsl serving with the officers in compris ing the Executive Committee a r e Dr Eddie Smith, ECJC President; Dr Brad Tucker, Dean of Instruction and Gene Davis, Dean of Students. The Executive Committee will holc its Spring meeting April 30 on cam pus. After graduating from Sebastopol High School in 1978, Lathem attended East Central Junior College where he received a n Associate of Arts degree in mathematics education. At ECJC, 1,athem was elected to the Hall of Fame. In 1982, Lathem graduated from I\iississippi State University with a a a c h e l o r of Science d e g r e e in mathematics education. Before returning to Scott County, 1,athem taught one year a t Murphy High School in Mobile, AL. He currently teaches geometry, \.4lgebra 11, a n d a d v a n c e d mathematics a t illorton High School. As a teacher, Lathem has been honored by being selected a s STAR Teacher for three years.
