Central was the third highest with a 74. Oarlc is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe qark of Decatur. The East Central team score was compiled by Oark with 74, Tony Dobbs of Forest with an 81, James Wood of Louisville with a 82, Wayne Baucum of Decatur with an 86, Jay Jones of Forest with a 93, and Doug Hubbard of Louisville with 108. Joe Oark coaches the East Central team.

The East Central Junior College Golf Team participated in their first golf game March 4 at Gulf Coast J.Jnior College. Gulf Coast led the other Junior Colleges with a team score of 310. Southwest followed with a 312, Hinds 322, and East Central was fourth out of seven teams wi1h a 323.
