Students Receive Top ECJC Graduation Honors

During recent graduation exercises at East Central Junior College, Greg Henley was recognized as valedic- · torian and Ramona Pullin as salutatorian. Both are 1981 graduates of Neshoba Central High School with Miss Pullin being the senior class valedictorian and Henley the salutatorian. Henley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack }Ienry. At East Cen– tral he . maintained a 4.0 average and. received the French award both years and the freshman and sophomore . math awards. Henley is the recipient of the Mississippi State Scholarship for the East Central student with the hig~est average. He was chosen for member– ship in Who's Who Among American Junior College Students. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Warrior Corps, Mu Alpha Theta, in which he served as president and Le Cercle Francais, of which he was also president. Henley represented East Central in the Governor's Col-

loquim on Science, Engineer– ing and Technology. Henley plans. to attend Mississippi State next fall and continue his studies in com– puter science. Miss Pullin is the daughter , of Mr. and Mrs. David B. Pullin of Union. A chemical engineering ma– jor at ECJC, she plans to con– tinue her education at Mississippi State. Miss Pullin was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society in which she served as president and was treasurer of the Student Body Association. · She was also vice president of Alpha Alpha Epsilon and reporter of Mu Alpha Theta. Miss Pullin participated in varsity tennis and was active in intramural sports. She was chosen as class favorite both her freshman and sophomore years and was selected to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. At the recent awards day . ceremonies, she received the ., Danny R. Killen alumni award for engineering.
