Area Students Receive ECJC Diplomas Graduation exercises for the 54th graduating class at East Central Junior College were held in Huff auditorium. Remarks were by Dr. Charles Wright, president of the college and Henry B. Hudspeth, chairman of the board. ' Greg Henley of Philadelphia and Ramona Pullin of Union were recognized as valedic– torian and salutatorian respectively. Of the 176 candidates presented, ·117 received associate degrees and 59 received vocational-technical certificates. Graduates from Neshoba County receiving associate degrees were: Robert Michael Calvert and Rachel Elizabeth Kittrell, both of Collinsville; James T. Arledge, Stephanie Blackstock Bain, Alisa Roberta Coburn, Gregory Jack Henley, Jimmy F. Kilgore, Teresa Lyons, Rhonda Oliphant, Robbie Lafayette Sharp, Melody Ann Smith, Janice Leigh Stone, Kenneth M. Wallace and Debra Ann Ward, all of Philadelphia; Glen Allen Pierce, Ramona Pullin and James Gregory Spires, all of Union. Neshoba countians receiv– ing vocational certificates were Andrew Kenneth Breland and Kay Frances Kilpatrick, pf Philadelphia and Ricky Roler and Kelvin Kyle Brantley of Union.
