Dawkins Signs At East Centnd Alice Dawkins, Hickory High School senior, is shown signing a basketball scholarship to East Central Junior College. Alice has been the recipient of All Conference and All District honors in the last two years of basketball action. In 1983 she also won District track honors in the 440 dash and the mile relay. Coach Lucille Wood of East Cen– tral states, " We are pleased to have Alice come to East Central and be a part of our basketball program.
