Set Opener The East Central Junio College fall football drills got underwayMonday, August 18 with 64 players reporting from the first practice. The enthusiastic group included only six returning lettermaxi and 58 freshman prospects. Eleven are from out of state and 53 are local district players. The practice schedule includes drills at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. with squad meetings each evenings. Head Coach Ken Pouncey is working with defensive and offensive linemen. Assistant Coach David Bradberry is working with offensive and defensive backs and Assistant Coach Freeman Horton is working with defensive ends and linemen.
