ECJC Basketball Roster Announced The Warriors of Eas t Central Junior College a r e ooking forward to another exciting basketball season ~ n d e rthe able coaching of Warrior mentor Herman tobinson. Coach Robinson recently said of the team, "Ifeel that ve have the potential to have one of the best basketball easons ever a t Eas t Central if the players have the will o work hard, and the desire to achieve the best season mssible. " Returning from last year's squad is 5'10" sophomore y a r d Gary Patrick, a graudate of Forest High School ~ n d the son of Fred Patrick of Forest. Also returning is i'5" sophomore guard Ricky Stewart, a graduateof C. F . Jigor High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William 7. Stewart of Mobile. Other sophomore team members include 6'6" center 7elix Johnson, a graduate of Thomastown (La.) Stanley Atkins, a graduate of Bastrop High School, an the son of Mrs. Annie Atkins of Bastrop, Louisiana; Bj Brand, a 6'4" forward, a graduate of Hickory Hig School, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Brand J r . ( Hickory; Kenneth Gilliland, a 6'8" forward, a graduate ( Winston Academy and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gllliland of Louisville; George Gray, a 6'0" guard, graduate of Lake High School and the son of Mr. ar Mrs. George E . Gray of Lake; Roy Myers, a 6'5" centc and a graduate of Morton High School and the son of M and Mrs. Hilton Myers of Morton; Steve Prejean, a 5'9" guard, a graduate of Ascensic Catholic High School, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robe L. Prejean Jr. of Donaldsonville, Louisiana; and 5'! guard Steve Roberts, a graduate of Winston Acaden and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L.
