w Lady Warriors Defeate Utica The East Central Junior College Warriors and Warriorettes traveled to Utica Junior College on February 9. The Lady Warriors defeated the Utica women in over-time 85-80. The score was tied at the end of regulation time at 73. This was the last regularlly scheduled game before division tournaments for the Warriorettes who finish scheduled play with 8-6 ranking in the South and a 11-10 over-all. Mattie scorers for the Warriors were Mike Shirley of Morton with 30, Joe Kennamer of New Hope, Al. with 11, and Palma Jones of Carthage and Ken Gilliland of Louisville with 10 each.

The Warriors finished their regular season on February 11 by hosting the Clarke College Pan- thers. The Warriors defeated Clarke 99-84, closing out their season with a 2-13 division ranking and a 5-18 overall. Kennamer was highest scorer with 21 points. Followed by Jones and Gilliland with 18 each and Shirley with 17. Ken Eiland of Louisville netted 9, Eddie Griffin of Walnut Grove 8, and Leon Jackson of Newton and Ken Sims of Morton with 2 each.

Burnside of Noxapater was the highest scorer for the Warriorettes with 25 points. Other double digit scorers were Stephanie TownSend of Lena with 18, Pam Coleman of Carthage with 13, and Augusta Hardney of Walnut Grove with 11. The Warriors were defeated by
