East Central Junior College has recently awarded Achievement Scholarships for the 1979-80 school year to students in the five county district. Qf the twenty-four scholarships awarded eight were from k k e County. The tuition scholarship is awarded to the white student and the black student in each high school in the district with the highestgrade point averagewho plans toattend East Central Junior College.
