Miss Parker Receives Scholarship
Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation has awarded Carol Parker of Philadelphia, s community education scholarship. She is the daughter of Mr. 3nd Mrs. Virgil Parker and is honor gr adua t e of rrdadelphia High School. Approximately 20 communi- ty education scholarships have been presented to children of Weyerhaeuser Zompany employees. Vinners were chosen from applicants by the Citizen's Scholarship Foundation of America. This scholarship will provide financial support to students who plan to start their post-secondary educa- ion a t a community or rocational-technical school. Miss Parker plans-to attend- st Central Junior College in Decatur. Sheplans to pursue a d~a r e e in pharmacy. high school she was a member of bop junior and senior Beta $lubs, Future Homemakers of America, and Future Business Leaders of America. Shewas listed in Who's Who Among AmericanHigh School Students, Who's Who Among Future Business Leaders of America, and the superinten- dent's list. Miss Parker is also a inember of Grace Baptist Church.
