I he East Central Junior College Concert Choir will present its annual Christmas Concert, Wednesday, December llth, 7:30 p.m., in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the East Central campus. Thet Choir will perform under the direction of Bob Heritage, a new member of the music faculty. I The program will include a variety of sacred and secular f%ristmas songs, some with traditional piano accompaniment, hers featuring involved instrumenti$ accompaniments. Ond$: portion of the program wffl be taken for audience singing of same : of the more familiar Christmas Carols. +Thisyear the Concert Choir membership includes 35 student#+: who come from different areas of the flve county disMct which Erst Central serves. The choir officers, whose hometowns am representative of tbe larger group, include President Pa Chaney of Hickory, Vice-PresidentGinny Clark of Walnut G $ecretary Elizabeth Johnson of Decatur, and Librarian Frazier of Louisville. 3-z UNION AR'nsr HAS SHOWING--Mrs. Linda Ann (Edmund; Burroughs, art instructor at East Central Junior College at Decatur, opened her art exhibit to the public this week in the Fine Art Building on the college campus. Her paintings are ip oil, charcoal, ac~y+ic and are done with apallet knife -and brush. They range from a southern style to still life, landscapes, seascape and abstract, Shehas also exhibited many pieces of pottery, all thrown on the potter's wheel. The exhibit will run through December 12.
