Morton Woman Appointed To Library Post

East Central Junior College of Decatur announces the appointment of Ms. Gloria Dean Johnson as Assistant Librarian for the 1978-79 academic year. Ms. Johnson is the daught.er of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Johnson of Morton. She is a graduat.e of Betty Mae Jack High School. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from :Mississippi Valley Stat.e University in Itta Bena, and a Master's degree in Library Science from The University of Mississippi. Ms. Johnson joins ECJC from Allstat.e Insurance Company. In ad– dition to her insurance experiences she has been employeed by Charleston Middle School in Charleston, as an English t.eacher, Morton Junior High School as Librarian, and was Assistant Librarian at Meridian Junior College for three years. The newly appoink-0 Librarian will join Mrs. Ann Burkes, Head Librarian and Mrs. Gail Wood, returning Assistant Librarian in the Burton Library located on the ECJC campus.
