Season ticket membership car– ds will be mailed to individuals sometime during the week of Oc– tober 18-23. The first concert will be by Bill Schustik, The American Troubador, on Thur– sday, October 28. Mrs. Earnestine Burns, President of· the local concert group, showed her appreciation by saying: "We couldn't have done it without the cooperation of the people from every town in the county. Our businesses, in- dustries, and community leaders were more than generous with their contributions to the Patrons Plan, which enabled us to secure the top quality entertainment that we have chosen for our first season. We are also indebted to Dr. Charles Wright and East Central Junior College at Decatur for providing the facilities for our concerts and monthly meetings. The cooperation on their part has been most generous."

The auditorium at East Central Junior College, where the concerts will be held, seats 1000 persons. If necessary, chairs will be added in the aisles to accomodate an overflow crowd, she stated. "We are so excited, especially because we had a sellout season our very first year--and because many people didn't think it could be done in Newton County,'' said Mrs. Weaver. "Much of the credit is due to the dedication of our volunteer workers," she ad– ded. Of the 1,033 tickets sold, 237 of that number were student ll)emberships while 796 were adult memberships.
