One of the most original happenings at East Central Junior College this semester will be the Spring andSummer Bridal Show presentedby the college and McRae's Department Stores on Tuesday night, March tb.e 18th. Featured in their third bridal showing will be the members of the ECJC Fashion Squad, under the direction of Mrs. Patrice Pope and . Mts. Alice Pouncey. Escorts will be male students from East Central. The showing will be staged in the Fine Arts Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Bridal gowns and door prizes will be furnished by McRae's of Meridian. Formal wear for the male escorts will be furnished by Randall's of Meridian. A display of necessary accessories for every wedding, to be featured in the lobby, will in_clude:, J}ridaJ.. Gil"f:9.1.. -i displayedby Wheeler Drug Store ofDecatur; Dinnerware for everyday ' use, displayed by Union Florist of Union; and Wedding Photography, displayed by Bill Ray Studio of Jackson. The brides and their attendants will carry bridal bouquets arranged by Union Florist. Following th~ showing, the evening will be complete with. a formal wedding reception, featuring the traditional wedding cake and punch. The three-tiered wedding cake will be designed and made for the occasion by Mrs .' Rudolph Mayes of Decatur. Members of the fashion squad include: Kim Jennings, Vickie Marshall, Marion Peebles, Marilyn Smith, and Debra Barnes of Philadelphia; Mary Gilmore ofDecatur; Tanya Majure ofUnion; Cheryl Hicks ofHickory; Cynthia Barnett, Cindy Brantley and Ginny Clark of Leake County; Linda Arnett of Louisville; Sandra Fredrick of Sebastopol,"' Bboron Duke andFran Weaver of Jackson; and Kathy Polk. of Starkville.
