Six art exhibits beirlg staged by EC students

The public is cordially invited to view these show– ings. The library is open until 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and until 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. Newton Hall is open between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Mon– da s throu h Fridays.

An exhibition of drawings and paintings and another on crafts are now on display on the campus of East Central Junior College, Decatur. And, according to Art Instructor Bruce Guraedy, four more shows are sche– duled to go up during the · month of April. An exhibition of· drawings and printings by ECJC art majors is currently hanging in the lobby of Newton Hall. Also currently on display in the new library is a crafts exhibit of leather goods done by students in the Inventive Cra'fts n1gnt ctass~ weekly I at Forest. Both o~ exhibits will be open to the public t~rough Ap.ril 1st. Beginning Aprll .4th and running through Apr1\ 8t?, an exhibit of wash drawings, watercolors, paintings and prints will be hanging in t~e lobby of Newton Hall. This exhibit is also by ECJC art majors. The ECJC Inventive Arts Class at Fprest will exhibit stained glass candle h~\ders and bowls in the new hbrarr between April Sth and Apnl 19th. Also showing in the

library April 5-19 will be an exhibit of sculpture by the ECJC art majors. An exhibit of egg temperas by non-art majors taking Art Appreciation courses at East Central will be held April 19-30 in the lobby of Newton Hall.
