UNION MAN RECEIVES SILVER MEDALION--Wendall Williams of Union (center back) was one of three Vocational students at East Central Junior College to win silver medalions for second place recognition at the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Convention held early this month. standing with him are the other two winners, Mike Cumberland, of Philadelphia (left) who won in the architectural drafting field, and Don Oxner of Lena (right) who won in the trouble shooting in radio. and tv category. Williams was a winner in the electrical competition. others attending the convention from East Central are, from left to right Jimmy Madden of Sebastopol, John Cochren of Carthage, Gary Cheatam of Philadelphia, and club advisor Richard W. Clark of Philadelphia. Cochren has served as State Secretary for the organization this year.
