Marian Whinnery Gets Leading Role In Musical "Paint Your Wagon" by Lerner and Lowe has been chosen for the spring musical production to be staged by the drama and music depart– ments of East Central Junior College. The musical is a comedy on the trials and tribulations of the gold mining days of the 1849's where there were too few women and too many men. Principal characters in the production are Miss Marian Whinnery of Carthage and Mike Simpson of Jackson. Featured in supporting roles are Walter Griffith of Vicksburg, Leonard Fick, JoAnn Wright, and Gale Goss of Decatur, Pam Stribling of " Walnut Grove, Cliff Jernigan of Louisville, and Dale Worrell, Ricky Hosey and Darwin Hatch of Forest. Members of the cast will be ably supported by a large chorus of singers and dan– cers, as well as an orchestra. "Paint Your Wagon" will be presented five consecutive lights, February 21 - 25, in
