According to the director, Mrs. Johnnie Graham, the 'pageant will be conducted according to regulations set forth by the "Miss America" Scholarship Pageant. The local winners will be award– ed an educational scholarshi!> for use at the college of her choice. Winners on the state level are eligible for as much as $6,000 in scholarships. Mrs. Graham will be assi:;ted in direction by Mrs. Edmound Burroughs, art instructor at the college. Bruce Peterson, head of the speech department, will be the master of ceremonies. Music will be under the direction of Mrs. Marion Thornton of the ECJC music department. Contestants will be presented in evening gown, swimsuits, and talent competition.
