Mrs::",, . -Jessie Everett, niember 'of Xi Cliapter of Neshoba and Newton Count· ies, was awarded a Zeta · State' Delta Kappa Gamma Society International · Summer Scholarship at its annual state convention held in Vicksburg re~ently. State Scholarships are based on a member's contributions to Delta KAppa Gamma and on professional· ism both in her chosen fl~ and in the field of education. · Mrs. Everett has been an active member of Xi Chapter tor 18 years, serving two– year terms as president, first and second vice presidents, chairman of the Professional Affairs Committee, and in man~ other assignments. Mrs. Everett has taught in the business department at East Central Junior College for 24 years.
