Since her freshman year at E.C.J.C. she has been Vice- Resident of the ECJC Play- ers and a member of the TOM-TOM staff. She was chosen Best Actress in the Spring Musical "The Sou of Music" in which she played the role of Liese Von Trapp. She has been a cheerleader two years and this year she serves as Head Cheerleader. She was Varsity Bat Girl 1977-78. Sophomore maids include Linda Killen, Carla Halley, and Rita Gayle Smith. Linda, a business education major is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Killen of Union. While attending ECJC she has been a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, ECJC Players, and serves as a member of the Flag Corps in the Warrior Band. She was appointed in her freshman year to serve on the Sonny Montgomery Advisory Council, chosen as Freshman Class President, and Freshman Dorm Chair- man. She is a member of the First Baptist Church, Union. A graduate of Union High School, she was Miss Union High School in her senior year. Carla Halley, a special education major, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Johnson of Morton. A graduate of Morton High School, she was named to the high school All-Star 1976-77 in Basketball and the Most Vajuable Player in the All- Ligle Dixie Conference in 1976-77. She has played two years Varsity Basketball at ECJC and was awarded Honorable Mention in All- State 1977-78. She is also the sports editor of the TOM- TOM.
