mama Cheerteaaer Camp To Be Held At ECJC 1 East Central Junior College will hold a cheerleader cam this summer on the ECJ I campus. The dates for the camp a r e tentatively set f o ~ July 17-19,from 9 a. m. to 2% p. m. each day. Instruction will be offered in cheering, chants, tumbling and stunts. The camp is open to any interested individuals or groups of junior high or senior high age. Interested persons need to enroll by May 31. DECATUR - At East Central Junior College's Homecoming Oct. 7 a reception was held in the Fine Arts Building honoring the (;lass of 1928 as Alumni of the Year. Angela Hardy Homecoming Queen, wel- comed guests. Others in t h e receiving line included: Dr. Charles V. Wright, ECJC President, and Mrs. Wright; Dwight Mulholland, President of t h e ECJC Alumni Association; and Mickey Vance, President of t h e Student Body Association. Wanda Chambers and Melinda Parker, Student Education Association members presided at the guest register. East Central Junior College faculty members sewing on the reception committee were: Mrs. Ann Burkes, Chairman; Mrs. Gail Wood; Miss Gloria Johnson; Ms. Lucille Wood; and Bruce Guraedy. ECJC students sewing at thc reception were: Carla Massey, Vick Crowson, Carol McFarland, Myri Murrell, Rebecca Wooten, Faye Quinn and Pat Sinclair. -

?ion girls named at ECJC Two Union girls wer- recently elected to serve as officers of the Women's Student Council of East Central Junior College in Decatur for the 1978-79 year. The purpose of this organ- ization is to promote demo- cracy on the campus by training the women students in the practice and principles of self-government and assis- ting the dormitory supervisor in diiecting the women's, dormitories. Officers elected from Union include: Linda Killen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Killen, Social Chair- man of Newsome Hall; and Leisa Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Richard- son, House Chairman of Jackson Hall.

Dinner I heatreset The ECJC Players will present their annual fall Dinner Theat] production on November 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. in the East Central Junic ollege cafeteria. The four one-act plays to be presented are Imprcmpt~ d the Villain Still Persued Her, Crawling Arnold, and Everybody I Secret.
