ECJC Fall Dinner Theatre
Covington of Philadelphia; Margt Melesia Spence of Decatur; Kit Pam Shelley of Sebastopol; Maude - Charlotte Comans of Decatur; John - Mike Callahan of Carthage; Bob - Mark Walker of Carthage and Assistant Director - Jean Bartield of Forest. In Junk Yard, a man who holds up a bank and becomes a fugitive from the law is befriended by the owner of a junkyard and the owner's daughter. Members of the cast are: The Man - David Reynolds of Louisville; Simon - Wayne Bishop of Union; Anne - Harriet Vickers of Decatur; Policeman - Jessie Davis of Walnut Grove; and Assistant Director - Jennifer Warren of Forest. In Mrs. Harper's Bazaar, a group of ladies have asked a movie star to unveil a sculpture that one of the ladies made to commemorate the bazaar, and in the process, everything that can possibly go wrong, does. Cast members are: Mrs. Harper - Vickie Haralson of Forest; Mrs. Tearose - Shelia Gardner of Forest; Mrs. Cunliffe - Missy Keene of Union; Mrs. Spindler - Nancy Jo Buntyn of Union; Suzanne - Connie Savell of Philadelphia; Honey - Diane Griffin of Decatur; Fay - Donna Gibbs of Newton; Mrs. Gwyn Williams Linda Beckham of Carthage; and Assistant Director - Regina Shep- perd of Louisville.
The East Central Junior College Fall Dinner Theatre will be presented by the ECJC Players on November 15, 16 and 17 in Mabry Cafeteria. The Dinner Theatre will begin with the meal at 7 p.m. followed by three one-act plays. Tickets for the general public are $6 and may be reserved by calling 635-2126. Payment must be guaran- teed. ECJC instructor Bruce Peterson is the director of the plays. Students are involved in all aspects of the productions in such areas as acting, publicity, make-up, props and play selection as well as serving as assistant directors. In addition to the plays, guests will be entertained by the Collegians, a vocal and instrumental group composed of ECJC students, and the ECJC Fashion Squad, a selected group of young ladies modeling current fashions. Art work by ECJC art students will also be on exhibit. The plays to be presented are: Home at Six, Junk Yard, and Mrs. Harper's Bazaar. In Home at Six a man unexpectedly comes home at four o'clock to find everything amiss with the members of his family in thaj they have taken on quite different traits then he normally finds them with at six o'clock.
