daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H Tatum of Newton, was selected as
elanie Barrier, daughter of Mr. Mrs. Van H. Barrier Sr. of Noxapater has been elected as president of the Women's Dormitory Council at East Central Junior both the freshman and sophomore dorms. Diane Russell of Union, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Russell, was chosen as house - chairman of the sophomore dorm. Other offtcers in the sophomore dorm are Kathy Harrison, daughter of Mrs. Betty Jane Harrison of Philadelphia, civic leader; Leisa Richardson of Union, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Richardson, social chairmn; secretary-treasurer is Lisa Thrash, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thrash of Philadelphia; and Melissa Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Thompson of Morton was selected as religious chairman. Officers of the freshman dorm, Jackson Hall, are: Faye Russell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lee Russell of Union, house chairman; Pam Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Taylor of Union, secretary; Esther Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Thomas of Lousiville, treasurer; Dawn Haberle ofr Philadelphia, daughter of Mrs. Betty E. Haberle, civic chairman; and Brenda Evans, religious chairman, daughter of Mr. John H. Evans of Carthage. Denise Tatum, e. The president serves over
social chairman.
The purpose of the Women'! Student Organization is to assist the dormitory supervisors in directing the wornens' dormitories. Dormitor! superivsots are Mrs. Desm: Kipatrick, freshmen dorm; and Mrs
Gipson, sophomore dorm.
