Tuckc riefed the new students on academic policies, course and program selection. Dean of Students Denver Brackeen directed the entation for the new students. He was assisted by the counselors and other administrativeofficals. Registrar Frank Rives organized and supervised the registration prscess beginning with the return- ing students. All faculty participated h the dass scheduling. Business manager, Pery Wine- garden, explained fiscal policies of the college and assisted students in planning to meet financial obli- gations. According to Registrar Rives a gsod turn out of approximately seven hundred students were registered the first week. Since Monday, Sept. 4 was a holiday and -,CJC was closed, it has been _ ecided that Registtation for the fall ch-gses will continue thro @tp, St=#. 8.
