Dr. Bradford Tucker Brad Tucker Gets Doctorate From MSU Bradford J . Tucker, Academic Dean at East Central Junior College, will receive the Doctor of Education degree at the spring commencement exercise at Mississippi State University on Sunday, May 28, 1972. Dean Tucker's major field is ad– ministration in the Department of Educational Administration– Community College and Adult Education . His minor is Agricultural Education. A native of Leake County, the educator is a graduate of Edinburg High School, East ' Central Junior College and holds the Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Mississippi State University. In ac!dition, he has attended the University of Texas and the University of Southern Mississippi. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, has taught at Benton High School in Yazoo County, and ha~ been employed at East Centraf Junior College for 21 years- ·the last 11 as Academic Dean . He is married to the former Mary Merle Vaughan of Yazoo County and they have one daughter, Beth. Mr. Tucker is the grandson of Mrs. Beulah M. Jolly of Ediri– burg.
