When the curtain goes up March 24, at 7:30 the audi– ence will be entertained by the musical "Little Mary · Sunshine" by Rick Boesty– en. What they don't see, or notice,is all the hard work put in by Bruce P-eterson's Fun– damental of Theater class and members of the ECJC Players. They are the folks who stage the production. Helping Mr. Peterson tn the role of Assistant Director is · Dela Donald, who has perhaps the greatest respon– sibility. Dela is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Donald of Lake. Serving as Secretary to the Director is Wanda Harris. Her job includes attending all rehearsals and taking down any notes or changes to be made. Wanda is the

Mr. and Mrs. Max West of Philadelphia.. and Diane Jones, daughter of Mrs. Lou Birdia Jones of Carthage -are House Managers. They are responsible for the audi– torium during the play and for directing the ushers who are members of the fashion squad. Publicity is being handled by co-chairmen Donna Mayo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Trapp of Philadelphia and Amy Allday, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Allday of Union. They are assisted by Denise Tatum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tatum of Newton; Debbra Killen daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Killen of Union; and Lori Seal daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Seal of Union. Set Manager, Paul Fried- .man, son of Mrs. Retha Friedman of Decatur, along with set crew Roger Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Morgan of Lawrence; Pete Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bailey of Philadelphia; and Shane Moore, son,of Mr. ·and Mrs. Pete Moore of Carthage are in charge of changing and arranging the set for each scene. Lights are to be operated by Steve McKay, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. McKay of Louisville,and Barbara Yates daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Yates of Philadelphia. Connie Joh'nson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson of Morton will serve as Props Chairman. She is assisted by Sandra Sam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Sam of Philadelphia and Ruthie Triplett, daught– er of Mr. and Mrs. James Curtis Tritilett of Louisville ..

Stage Managers Mev Thrash 1 daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Thrash of De– catur, and Amy Hendrix, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vardaman Hendrix of Phila– delphia with helpers Ray– mond Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Reed, and Lisa Harrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Harrell of Decatur must make sure entrances and exits are timed precisely. Janice West, daughter of

Makeup will be handled by Sherry Roebuck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Roe– buck of Union, with help from the ECJC Cosmotology Department. Vickie Salter, wife of Stan– . ley P. Salter of Philadelphia is responsible for Ticket Sales. As one can see, many .nore people, other than the ones seen on stage, are involved in the production of "Little Mary Sunshine". Without the cooperation and dedication of these behind– the - scenes workers, the curtain could not go up.
