Former EC.JC Student Awarded

Stanley Patterson. a former student at East Central Junior College. has recently accepted a three year Army ROTC Scholarship to Emory Riddle Unitersity in Daytona Beach, Fla. The three year scholarship will cover expenses for tuition. books, fees and $100 per month during his enrollment at Emory Riddle. Stanley was awarded the scholarship based upon his academic grades, extra-curricular activities, performance before a selection board and demonstrated leadership and potential to be an officer in the U.S. Army. He is majoring in Aeronautical Sciences at Emory Riddle University. While at East Central Junior College Stanley was a member of Alpha Epsilon and active in many other campus activities. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ff51nk Patterson of Decatur. ':
