East Central Signs Harper Ken Pouncey, head foot– ball coach at Eas t Central Jr. College, has announced the signing of Kel v in Harper of Scott Central High School to a two-yea r football sc hola r ship . Harper is a 6' 203 pound defensive end . He is the son of Mr. and Mrs . Grady Harper. Pouncey said, "We are really happy to have this outstanding se nior join our squad." ~

InkWith ECJC Three Leake County high athletes have signed up foz; football scholarships to play for East Central Junior Col– lege next year, ECJC Coach Ken Pouncey said Tuesday. They are: Ken Creekmore, 6'2" , 250 pounds, tackle, of Edinburg. Lee Gilmer, 5'10" , 162 pounds, quarterback, Carthage. And , Daniel Winstead, 5'9", 165 pounds, defensive back, ~Edinburg .
