McGee Gets Scholarship From Institute
Cleveland wins scholarship Randy Cleveland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy J. Cleveland of Route 2, Union, has been awarded a Getty Oil Company Honorary Scholar– ship which will enable him to work as an Assistant Engi– neer for Getty oil Company in New Orleans during the summer of 1983. Cleveland is a Senior at Mississippi State University where he is majoring in Petroleum Engineering. A President's List scholar, he plans to graduate in Decem– ber of 1983. Cleveland was graduated from Decatur High School in 1979 where he was Valedic– torian of his class. He later graduated from East Central Junior College at Decatur before transferring to Mis– sissippi State. --0--
·ANDREW McGEE Andrew McGee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Otis McGee of Kalem, has earned a $1,000 scholarship from the Mississippi Min– eral Resources Institute of the University of Mississip– pi. He will be a junior at Miss. State University where his major is petro– leum engineering. The scholarship will be awarded for two semes– ters, at $500 each.
