Four Named To Hall Of Fame Four sophomores at East Central Junior College have been named to the ECJC Hall of Fame: John Harrison of Forrest. Skippy Lathem of Sebastopol. Susan Mihalic of Union and Evelyn Pierce of Newton. Being named to the Hall of Fame is the highest honor for a student to receive. Criterion for selection are contribution to the college. high moral standards. outstanding scho– larship. leadership and potential for achievement. a 3.95 average in her class work while being very active in school activities . Serving as editor of the TOM TOM. Susan is considering a major in journalism and English or Political Science. She has participat– ed in the thearer production on campus every semester. Offices that she holds include: EC.JC Players. president; Phi Theta Kappa. . treasurer; Sudent Body Assiciation. secretary; and Concert Choir. secretary. She is a member of the French Club. in English and Theater. Being very active in musical- activities on campus. Evelyn has had the lead roles in both spring ,musicals since she came to East Central and has been a member of the Collegians and the Concert Choir for two ye'ars. She is a member of the EC.JC Players. the French Club. aQd Phi ·Theta Kappa and hold offices,in each . She has been a member of the TOM TOM staff for two years and was selected as Most Beautiful at EC.JC during her freshman year.

John Harrison. son of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Harrison of Forest. has maintained a 3.7 grade point average in the pre-dental curriculium. He was president of the 1978 freshman class and is now serving as vice-president of the Student Body Association. Last year, John received the Frank E. Leatherwood Biological Science Award. He is active in intramural basketball and was a class favorite last year. Skippy Lathem. son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim B. Lathem of Sebastopol. has a cumulative grade point average of 3.58 in Pre-Engineering. He is active in the Engineering Club. intramurals and Phi Theta Kappa. Interested in the athletic events of the school. Skippy serves as Sports Editor of the TOM TOM and mana~r of the women's basketball team.
