ECJC Agriculture Club To Attend Convention Members of the newly reorganized Agricultural Club at East Central Junior College will attend the Dixie National Rodeo and the State Convention of Junior College Agricultural Clubs on February 14 and 15. of Junior College Agricultural Clubs. While there they will attend the annual organizational business session, hear lec– tures on the importance of agriculture organizations, East Central Junior College, Tony Adams and Rob Loper, will attend the remainder of the convention to vote on the constitution and by laws and elect State Officers.

Tony Adams, son of Mrs. Arlie Mae Adams of Newton; Thomas Ganann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ganann of Carthage; Bert Gilmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kendal Gilmore of Union; Wayne Gordy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Gordy of Lawrence; Rob Loper, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Loper of Union; Fred Stokes of Louisville; Pam Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Taylor of Union; Ricky Thaggard, son of Dr. Lamar Thaggard of Madden; and Jeff Watkins, son of Mr. Lamar Watkins of Forest.

Serving as Sponsor is Tommy Sanders. Mr. San– ders is an Associate Agronomist and is currently employed with the Mississippi Experimental Station-the Coastal Plains Branch in Newton- and is teaching one class each semester at East Central.He will be accompaning the group to Jackson.
